We are trying to upload the file of size 27 MB to CRM 2015 from web portal and we are getting the below error message. But the same file can be uploaded from CRM. Also we are able to upload the file of size 15 MB from portal.
"There was no endpoint listening at http://MyServer/MyOrg/XRMServices/2011/Organization.svc that could accept the message. This is often caused by an incorrect address or SOAP action. See InnerException, if present, for more details."
After enabling the CRM trace, below is the error message we captured.
"[2017-01-05 18:56:15.309] Process:Microsoft.Crm.Sandbox.WorkerProcess |Organization:00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000 |Thread: 1 |Category: Sandbox |User: 00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000 |Level: Error |ReqId: 00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000 | SandboxWorkerMain.Main ilOffset = 0x23E >Changed MinIOThreads for worker from 1 to 101and MinWorkerThreads from 1 to 101"
Appreciate if you have any solution for this issue.
It looks like you're running on-prem - in the CRM Systems there's a field for "Maximum file size" (for attachments). You'll need to increase this to allow a larger file size. Here's how you'd do it:
Although this setting is under the Email tab of System Settings, it limits the size of files for the following –
File attachments of email messages
File attachments of Notes
Hope this helps! I'd appreciate if you'd mark this as Answering your question.
Thanks for your reply. Actually we have already done this change in CRM and we are able to upload the file of size 27 MB in CRM. This problem is only when we are uploading(creating as a note) from Web Portal (eService).
If you're only getting this from a portal, it would seem like the issue is going to be in the Max Request Length in your web.config ( https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/e1f13641(v=vs.85).aspx ). If that was the case, I would expect the error to come from your portal instead of CRM. Maybe you need to check that value in the web.config for your CRM instance and see what that's set too. I'd be extremely careful making any changes to that though.
maximum size for attachments is 37 mb. you can attach in.zip file
CRM web.config is already got updated when we have changed the max file size from CRM. And the Max Request Length also set to 50 MB in portal.
This issue has been fixed by using the below solution from this link.
"My solution was 26MB, I saw with feedler that the content sent was close to 46MB (because it is envolved in SOAP request, Base64, etc).
I changed CRM webconfig in httpRuntime the attribute maxRequestLength to be 100000000 (100MB because my solution is still growing) and also maxAllowedContentLength in request filtering in IIS at CRM's website"
