MSCRM 2015 outlook client is plugged into outlook 2013 but the performance is very slow. Only when Dynamics Plugin is enabled, outlook slows down
Tried below Steps to fix:
1. Added crm url to trusted site
2. Checked Mailbox size and it is 0.8 GB. (1.5 optimal for better performance as i know)
3. Checked .ost file size,which is fine
4. RAM is of 4GB(3.9 is unused)
5. installed windows update
6. Finally ,uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin
7. Issue remains the same even when i connect to Wi-fi or LAN Cable
When Dynamics Plugin is enabled, "Outlook is retrieving data from the Microsoft Exchange Server" Error comes on the right most bottom corner and takes 15-20 mins to load.
Please guide me the options to track this issue. It's high priority Issue which i should resolve!
Looks like you've checked the right things so far.
Check that you are not synchronizing 1000's of records - www.microsoft.com/.../choose-the-records-to-synchronize-between-dynamics-365-and-outlook-or-exchange.aspx
I've found that sometimes there can be an initial delay whilst the mailbox is scanned when first installed- but then performance improves.
