just wanted to have a look to the mobile app of Dynamics CRM on my iPhone 7 (current Softwareupdate 10.2.1).
I installed the app called "Dynamics CRM for phones express". When I try to connect to the organization, a message appears that a new version of the app is available. But this doesn't make sense because it is a setup for Dynamics 365. I've tried this as well and I got the message that I cannot use it, that's fine.
IFD is enabled, why it doesn't work? Currently Update 0.1 is installed on the servers.
We've had numerous issues with the mobile app in the past. We've tried it on 2013, 2015, and 2016 all On-Prem, and they've all had crippling issues.
Our consultants went as far as to say Microsoft doesn't support the mobile app for On-Prem versions, only Online.
We've had much better success using the Resco mobile CRM app.
thanks a lot for your suggestion. I´'ve already installed Resco and it works well.
I'm going to use this app.
To add some more clarity, "Dynamics CRM for phones Express" is an old app for older versions of CRM. You don't want to use it with CRM 2015. What you want to use is the one called "Dynamics 365". that's the "newer version" the other app is telling you about.
Glad Resco worked out for you, but I figured you'd want to know about the current official CRM app as well.
