We are currently running CRM 4.0 enterprise and looking to migrate to Dynamics 365 however the licensing seems to be confusing as we are currently paying a 1/3 of the new fee that we would pay per user on the new Dynamic platform for P1. Our current licensing is under SPLA and have been told that they can still offer the old price if we go with 365 on Premise. I was wondering if anyone could shed any light and would it be like for like in terms of our users have full rights now within the entire suite.
I hope this makes sense.
It will be difficult to give accurate advice on pricing without additional information. I suggest you work with Microsoft directly or with your implementation partner to get the right advice. There are many ways to get better value with Dynamics 365. For example, Microsoft offers incentives if you migrate to Dynamics 365 Online from on-premise. I think overall, you need to upgrade from CRM 4.0 anyway to make sure you are getting the best out of Microsoft Dynamics latest features.
Hope this helps. Please mark as verified answer if you found this response helpful.
