Just installed gamification into our dynamics 365 production but I can't seem to add players or set up a game! I've been on all the blogs but I don't seem to have the same steps. If I go to my 'games' there is nothing there with nowhere to add, same with players. I have access to the portal but I can't see any options for adding games or adding players. The images I have seen of other people's portals seems different to mine. Can anyone help me?
You will need to assign yourself the commissioner permissions :
1. Navigate to gamification.dynamics.com/.../ImportUsers
2. Search for your user
3. Click ‘Change Role’
4. Select ‘Commissioner’ in the Role dropdown for your user.
5. Click ‘Update Role’
You will now have permissions to create games etc.
Hope this helps
Thanks for this Scott but I can't seem to access the link from step 1. The tab says 'working' but nothing ever opens. Would you be able to type where I would need to go?
Make sure you are logged in Microsoft Dynamics and follow the steps given by Scott and you show be able to change your role to that of a commissioner.
