I am in my development environment setting up the SLA and testing it.
I realized today that I am unable to resolve a case from the record. I am able to do it from the Case views, but not on the record itself. The Resolve Case and Cancel Case buttons are there, but when I click them nothing happens. There is no error message. I have tried this in both IE and Chrome.
I have also tested this in the production environment and I am able to resolve and cancel cases from the record. In both environments I have security roles that grant me permission for everything, so it shouldn't be that.
Press F12 in your browser, click on Resolve Case button, and look in console tab. Maybe there is some information about the error.

Thank you. Unfortunately, nothing happened or changed at all when I clicked Resolve Case or Cancel Case.
Did you do any kind of ribbon customizations to case entity?
No, I just added first response and resolve by SLAs
figured it out! It was because I was using a link to the dev environment that didn't require login and wasn't authenticated. After using the correct link and logging in, it works!
