In CRM 2011 after UR18 I'm using the following java script code for show the notification message.
var notificationsArea = Sys.Application.findComponent('crmNotifications'); notificationsArea.AddNotification('mep2', 2, 'source', "Warning Message");
The problem is already one notification is placed on the notification area with some HTML message. Now I'm trying to show the new one using the above code snippet. the notification will appeared as I expected.But the old HTML message shows the raw html.How can I fix this issue?In this attachment image earlier inside the span its shows link.After implement second warning message its showing raw html content like span details
This is internal crm method and unsupported. You should avoid doing this and use alert instead. If you stil want to go with this, try below blog reference and see if it works.
Hope this helps.
@ravi kashyap Thanks for your reply. But the problem is if I use like this
var notificationsArea = document.getElementById(‘crmNotifications’);
notificationsArea.AddNotification('mep2', 2, 'source', "Warning Message");
It will throws the error like AddNotification object can't support kind of error.
Okay. Then MS must have changed something in the internal function itself. Sorry I don't have anything else to suggest regarding this method. As suggested above, you can use the normal alert if that fits your requirement.
