I am new to the reports feature of CRM. I was able to create new reports using the wizard. But while trying to schedule any report from the available list, I am getting the below error:
"Only sql server reporting services reports can be filtered or scheduled"
Any idea why?
When you schedule a report in CRM, it is actually uses SSRS Report scheduler to send the report.
I think SSRS report scheduler can only work for SQL report not FETCH based report as behind the scene it will be using a SQL agent to generate the report.
The report you selected for Schedule seems to be a FETCH report, it does not support scheduling
If you get the error for any of the reports, then I think the issue is with your CRM or SSRS configuration, and not whether the report in SQL or FETCH based.
Try enabling CRM tracing, and also check the reporting services logs, to get more information
I am unable to schedule even the default reports provided by CRM (Account Distribution, Account Summary, etc)
Nothing is getting captured in the trace files
Are the reports being generated successfully?
Can you schedule the report by creating a Subscription in the reporting server?

When I try to create a subscription, I get the below error.
"Subscriptions cannot be created because the credentials used to run the report are not stored, or if a linked report, the link is no longer valid. "
When you create a subscription, it does not have the credentials to execute the report that is expecting credentials to be provided.
Go to the report in the Reporting Services, click the properties tab, then choose Data Sources in the left pane.
In case of custom data source, most probably that the option "Credentials supplied by the user running the report" is selected. If so, change it to "Credentials stored securely in the report server".
In case of shared data source, you can change it to use a service account create only to run these reports.
The above suggestion worked for me. But however I am still not getting a solution for how to schedule reports from the UI. The system throws the same error I have mentioned in the first thread.
After creating the subscription in SSRS, Can you try to schedule the report from the UI.
In addition, check the event viewer of the SSRS server if there are additional error details
You can schedule report from report server.
You can download this RDL and upload it on report server and schedule from there.
