When deactivating records, does this automatically exclude that contact from receiving marketing materials?
it depends on the segment/marketing list of these contacts as in if they are selected or filter allows deactivated contacts.
No i think.It is just the record level deactivation.

Ok thanks, I didn't realise you had to manually filter the inactive contacts out of each marketing list, not quite what I was hoping for but thanks.
