Hey community, I've setup a new user in our CRM environment, and she cannot send emails from within CRM (screenshot1). Every other use is able to send fine, so it is not an issue with the server or the service running. In setting up the user, I did make sure the "Allow other users send on behalf" was checked as this is set for everyone. I also made sure under Settings>Security>User that the user was enabled for mail, and I've gone into Email Router Conf Manager to verify the current outgoing configuration and tested access (screenshot2). When she sends an email, it just stays in the "Sending" status before eventually going to the "Pending Send" status. It never sends. I've done advanced finds to see if she has a blocked que, and that's not the issue. Any other idea?
Did you check any server-side Sync issues for this mailbox in settings->email configuration -> Server-side Synchronization Monitoring? This will give an indication if any issues with this users mailbox.
Hopefully, you checked the alters in user mailbox profile. If not please check there as well.
Thank you for the reply. I did check for alerts and there weren't any. I also went to settings>email configuration> but i do not see Server-side Syn Monitoring (screenshot)?
the Server-side Syn Monitoring might be different in you version. Please check this link.
Thanks! I did check that link, and I did some googling. I don't think that is available till 2016. I have CRM 2015. Any other thoughts
Open the Security Role assigned to the user whois sending the email, open the Business Management tab > scroll to Miscellaneous Privileges section and check the permission "Send eMail as Another User"
Charles, thanks for the reply. I mentioned above that the two users have the exact same Security Roles and teams. One is able to send emails and one is not. Any other thoughts?
The resolution for this issue was to check the user's 365 Managed Mailbox permission. Being a new user, the "send as" permission did not copy over to the new user in 365. I've added this to my onboarding documentation.
