we have an exchange online server and dynamics 365 v9.0, everything was working fine until yesterday when a mailbox suddenly can't no more send emails and give us this error:
MailboxNotHostedInExchangeOnline. Exchange.server returned 400 error.

after 2 day struggling around this issue i didn't understand how to fix it, anyone could help?
the mailbox has to sync only ougoing-emails with server side sync.
We are having the same problems. Started Saturday.
Do you have a hybrid setup?
There are also other posts @ stackoverflow that having problems.
Did you open up a MS case?
Our default mail profile has been exchanged by "Exchange Online" which cannot work as the mailboxes are still on premise.
But this must be an automated task on Saturday. No one changed something at the configuration.
although it seemed all mailboxes were on Echange online the Exchange admin responded that the interested mailbox was still on premise.... asap it was migrated the issue was solved.
