We have installed CRM 365 for our production environment. Three machines used:
As indicated, the resources are good enough and no lack of resources occur. We have daily number of 80K cases in CRM and 700 users working with system.
Every time our CS experts try to assign 100 cases, the following error occurs:
The timeout period elapsed prior to obtaining a connection from the pool. This may have occurred because all pooled connections were in use and max pool size was reached.
I have checked lots of records in deployment properties table and also check the config files, but could not find any configuration to be able to handle this error.
Use the following select to show the value (targeted DB is the MSCRM_CONFIG) select * from deploymentproperties where ColumnName='SharedDBConnectionPoolPerOrgLimit'
The default value is 100, the update query has been set for 300, but can be edited:
update deploymentproperties set IntColumn=300 where ColumnName='SharedDBConnectionPoolPerOrgLimit' insert into organizationproperties (Id,ColumnName,BitColumn) VALUES ('GUID','SqlConnectionMaxPoolSize',300)
I have tested this one and set it to 5000, but no chance. Just to double check: iisreset is enough for this change to take effect? Or I should reset both db and backend severs?
IIS reset will be enough.
Sorry, the column name is Intcolumn, try the below query-
insert into organizationproperties (Id,ColumnName,IntColumn) values ('ORG GUID','SqlConnectionMaxPoolSize',300)”
