Hi,

I want to restore an encrypted VM on the same VM without creating a new one. I have gone through articles but could not find any leads. Is there a way?

Restore Encrypted VM on the same VM

Hi,

Experienced this problem before and as the learn article highlighted by Judy states that the Resource group needs to be linked instead of assigning a new resource group.

A couple of points to consider after restoration of VM:

1. VM Sizing (if its not obsolete)

2. Also, ensure that your DB Sync works after the VM is restored.
