I am playing arround with the schedule assistant and want to schedule a resource for a 4 days work order. The work starts on a friday so the remaining days have to be monday and forward. How do i handle this when i dont want the worker to work on weekends. And i want the schedule assistant to suggest the resource from the work order (i know that i am able to do it from the schedule board manually).
I have configured the resources work hours so that it indicates that the resources isnt working in weekends.
But now the resource is not being suggested by the schedule assistant.
I read somewhere that this is because a work order automatically is created with a resource requirement that has an allocation mehod of "None". and that i need to manually create a new resource requirement with another allocation method. I tried this with the allocation method = "Frontload" and it did result in multiple resource requirement details instead of just one large. But it seems wrong that i have to do that workaround.
How do you handle this weekend scenerio out in the real world? :)
