Utilize the same barcode for different engineering versions of the same product.

I want to use the same barcode for different engineering versions of the same product.  Is this possible?  Because I have to enable the Scanning checkbox when configuring the barcodes and MD365 send a warning saying that: "a barcode can be used only once for scanning"
