Row data still exists in tables after deleting a newly created Legal Entity

Hi,

I created a new legal entity in D365F&O, I imported some data into it, and later I deleted it because I dont need it. But no transactions happened.

I checked some tables (example Number Sequence ReferenceV2 DataEntity), and I saw there is still data related to that deleted entity/company.

Now does system delete the records in tables actually when deleting a legal entity?

Row data still exists in tables after deleting a newly created Legal Entity

When you delete a legal entity in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365F&O), the system does not automatically delete the records in all related tables immediately. Some data may remain in the system for a period of time due to data retention policies and the way the system handles historical data.
