the issue we came accross is very strange as it shouldnt be by design,
Recived email in CRM exmaple
From:Joe CRM
To:Self
now if i "reply all" this email, this is how it will look
From:Self
To:Self;Joe CRM
any idea why it include all emails in the "to" regardless? this behavoir is not in Outlook or other applicaiton and not sure why its in D365. the issue is this email if sent will count as outgoing (to joe) and incoming (to self) and appear twice in CRM

I know it does not make much sense to include the Self in the to field but that's what CRM does when you click on Reply All.
This behavior has been around for quite a while and I have now tested on latest online version and its the same.
I don't see any config related to this behavior, please see below
You can definitely write JS that triggers on the button click and then removes the Self from the to field, have a look at a similar discussion here

I would also recommend you raise a ticket with MS so that they might fix this in the future or make it configurable
