Creation of credit note through API

Hi there,
 
I need to know how we can create credit note through API in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operation. Do we need to add custom API for this or is there any api already available?

    There is a custom service: check out AOT > Services > Services > FormLetterService.
     
    But you may want to create something custom anyway. For example, I often see OData actions for posting of individual orders.
