how to call custom plugin from javascript

As suggested by others you could create custom action and have a plugin trigger on the action message but if do not want to do and want to trigger plugin any how you could try the following
Update the record that the plugin triggers on, you do not have to change data, just trigger an update message from JS and this will trigger the plugin
You will need to create an action and have the javascript call the action to trigger the plugin, below is a link to the tutorial
