Sections of Two Columns Show as One in Dynamics 365 - CE

Posted on by 689

Hi people.

I have a form with:

A Tab of 2 columns (50% - 50%)

In the Left Side, added a Section of 2 columns.

In the Right Side, added a Section of 2 columns.

But, both sides, it is shown as a Section of 1 column:

Please any advice, how to show correctly, because I see differently from how it is customized.

Thanks and best regars.

    Hi Leo,

Thank you very much for your answers.

i have done the testing in both: Google Chrome & FireFox.

    • In both:  Maximized.
    • In both: 80% zoom
    • My Resolution is: 1.366 x 768
    • My Screen Dimension is: 14 Inches.

But making the test, in other machines with

Screen Dimensions: Bigger than mine, such as:  16 inches, and in 100% zoom, with: Chrome & FireFox:  The form is shown perfect, as the design (2 column sections).

I can conclude:  The factor is the screen dimensions, which matches with the 'responsive at any device' concept.

    Thank you and best regards.

    Hi partner,

I tried with Inferface form in Custom Server Hub case entity again and it still worked for me.

    pastedimage1566439082371v4.png

But I used the same format in two sections (2x50% column).

I saw you put on section with two columns on the left and three sections on the right and the field labs are on the top of the fields. Then I used the same format with yours and tried again.

    And it still worked.

All the above tests are done in Chrome, then I moved to Firefox and  tried again, it still worked when maximize window.

Then I narrowed the window, it showed to me the same format with your situation!

At this point, we can finally determine that this is the reason for firefox, you could maximize your windwo when using the D365 or just switch to Chrome.

    Best Regards,

    Leo

    Hi Roxana,

Your pictrues don't look very clear. According to your description, I also inserted a tab with two sections with the same format(2 columns) in my main form.

    pastedimage1566356429508v1.png

Then I tested in classic client and it shows correctly.

Next I moved to Unified Interface and it also shows correctly.

So could you share your picture again, and which did you add this tab? Main form or Interface Form?

    Hope it helps.

    Best Regards,

    Leo
