We created a custom field on the case entity and a workflow that updates the custom field whenever the business process flow associated with the case changes to a new stage. We have also a couple of custom views in a couple of dashboards that show the custom field in charts and lists.
The custom field changes values without problems within the case form, however, the new value is not always a shown in the dashboard view. And it is not a matter of refreshing the views because the old value stays in the view even after refreshing. You see a value in the view and when you open the case the value is other. Randomly when you go back to the view, the new value is shown.
Any ideas on what could be happening?
