How to trigger an e-mail to be sent, based on the current date

Good morning all,

I've been asked to create a solution to carry out the following task on our Property forms.

There are a couple of fields that have to equal a certain value, and then we have one that has a 'Handover Date' - if this is populated, and is within 6 calendar days of the current date, it is meant to generate an e-mail.

As in the e-mail is meant to be sent BEFORE the Handover date.

I'm thinking this should be easy, but I'm not seeing the solution currently - do I need to create a 'CurrentDate' field on the form and hide it?

You could create a calculated field to store today's date.

This way, you can use the workflow to achieve your needs.

The condition for the workflow is as follows, you need to set its critical date in the form assistant.
