Dynamics 365 CRM Online Migration

I need to migrate a large amount of data into Dynamics 365 CRM Online.

When migrating into CRM on premise I can back up my SQL CRM database between migration steps to let me roll back if I have a problem.

How can I do something similar with CRM online ?

    Dynamics 365 does allow you to do on-demand database backups and restores. You can only restore a backup to a Sandbox instance.  If you want to restore a Production instance, you need to first switch the production instance to a Sandbox instance. See this article for step-by-step instructions:
