Assigning users to Public Queues

Hello Everyone,

I need to assign around 5000+ users to different queues. Apart from writing a console to achieve the functionality, is there any other way or a third party free source to help achieve the same.

Thank you

Mehaboob

    Hi Mehaboob,

It depends upon the logic you have to assign the Queue. If you could do this using the OOB workflow, then as mentioned above, you could use Bulk Workflow Execution tool from Xrm Toolbox.

    Refer this: www.powerobjects.com/.../how-to-bulk-update-crm-records-using-the-bulk-workflow-execution-tool

If you have some complex logic say to identify the queue to assign and if this is one time thing then best would be go for the custom app as you will have more control there.

    Hope this helps.

You can try building a workflow & can run in bulk using xrmtoolbox Bulk WF execution addin.
