Getting Business Process Error When Creating New Case

We have been using the classic interface for quite some time but are trying to ease into the Unified Interface (e.g. "Customer Service Hub"). I recently created a Business Process Flow (BPF) that works fine in the classic interface--no issues at all:

  • I can open up existing cases on the Customer Service Hub and advance stages (on the new BPF) with no problem
  • I can take records that were using the old BPF and switch them to the new BPF with no problem
  • I can create new cases in the classic interface with no problem (and they default to the new BPF)

The only thing that causes problems is if I create a NEW case in the Customer Service Hub. It will turn gray and display an error dialog box:

At this point, I have absolutely no clue what this error message is trying to tell me. And the solutions I find online are equally cryptic. Any suggestions on where to begin looking would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I am using Dynamics 365 v. 9.1.0.6430.

    Hi Tly,

I think this is the problem with plugins which is registered on case create

try to "PluginAdapter" disable this plugin and check once case creation.

Please let me know if you still getting the same issue

RE: Getting Business Process Error When Creating New Case

    Hi partner,

I tried in my instance and everything worked fine.

Is there any plug-in/real time workflow running on creation of a case? That may be causing the issue.

If there is nothing strange, please raise a ticket to Microsoft Support Team and ask the engineers to resolve your issue in the background.

    Hope it helps.

    Best Rgards,

    Loe
