Not able to see all of my employees notes/activities timeline

Hello,

I have a user that isn't able to see all of her teams notes/activities and not sure why that is.  They have full access to Activities and Notes for security.  I can see it all as I am an admin of the system.  The user can also see the notes/activities when doing an advanced find, but not when just going into an Account record.

Please advise, thank you.

Below is what the timline looks like:

    I don't see a view/filter anywhere, am I missing something?

    Hi,

Because users are able to see Activities and Notes using Advanced Find, the issue does not seem to be related to Security Role.

I guess this is only happening in timeline control, if yes, please look into the following:

    • Do you have an views (activities, emails, tasks, notes, etc.), where you have added a filter to restrict records to the current user? (Owner = current user).
    • If you are using subgrids (not time lines), review which views are configured.
    • Ask users to look for Activities and Notes in Advanced FInd using the views (like Associated View, All Activities Views). This is to verify that they can see records from others in these views, if not, you just have to review the view's filter criteria.

For the security role they are set to "Team Privilege's only"

For the Activities and Notes entity, they are currently set to Parent: Child Business Units

For the Post entity they are set to Organization.

I tried changing the Activities and Notes entity to Organization, but that still didn't work for the user.

    Anything else to try?

    Hi,

    Thank you for your query.

    Can you please make sure:

    • The user's security role has appropriate read access on the Activities/Notes entity (Organization or Business Unit level).
    • Also, try providing the user a full read on the post entity.

To troubleshoot, try tweaking permission level on these entities for that user, unless you find the issue,
