posting delay in trial balance

Hi,

I'm facing an issue, after posting to ledger accounts trial balance is updated after 26 minutes while that batch transfer rule is "Asynchronous", so I need help to resolve it and making posting is reflected immediately in trial balance.

Hi Ahmed,

Can you provide some more background information? What exact document did you post? How many transactions do you have hourly in your environment? Are you using the trial balance inquiry page or a trial balance using the financial reporter?
Note that after the accounting entries are generated, the summarized balances will also be updated in the background before the trial balance is aware of it.

What exact document did you post?

general ledger document and others

How many transactions do you have hourly in your environment?

around 200 hourly

Are you using the trial balance inquiry page or a trial balance using the financial reporter?

I'm using trial balance inquiry page.

Hi Ahmed,

There are batch jobs that take care of updating balances. Can you check if they exist, are running, and their the recurrence settings?
If they are not running, the balances are updated when you start a trial balance, which could take a lot of time.

Dear,

There has been a change in the Trial balance framework, which is causing the issue, I am now in a process to create a blog on this.

Make sure this batch job is setup with very minimum time such as 1 min, the batch class name is "GeneralLedgerBalanceProcess"

Hi Ahmed,

My previous reply got deleted. I don't know why. There are batch jobs for updating the balances. Can you check if these batch jobs are set up in your environment and running? If not, it will update the balances at the moment of starting a trial balance which can take a long time, depending on the number of transactions.

Hi Andre,

Thanks for your support you are right, there is a batch job and I minimized batch time to update TB in shorter time than before.
