Hi All Dynamics CRM Experts,

We use Data Import job for insert/update operations in Dynamics CRM.

But is there limitations of Data Import?

When we update some records using data import, does it affect all the data in the system outside user's roles?

Recently we found that even though the user's security role doesn't permit to modify some records in the system, those data were updated by the user using data import!

Let me know if anyone has any outlook on this.

Hi,

It is highly unlikely to happen however there has been a recent update to CRM 2015 which may have this bug.
