Filter on type of activity - Unified interface

Hello,

We are currently in the process of 'migrating' Dynamics 365 to the Unified Interface.

I was wondering if it's possible to add icons to the filter pane in the activity timeline. I would like to be able to add new icons to the filter for recordtype, where I can choose between types of activites. At the moment we only use e-mail, phone and appointments and I would like agents to be able to filter on these types of activities with one simple click, instead of clicking on 'More filter' and then choose the type.

Does anyone know if something like this is possible?
