How can I display Business Process Flow values in a Custom Field

Hi,

I have created a new custom field stage in Opportunity Entity. I want that field should be updated automatically based on the values of Business Process Flow.

Please suggest how can I achieve it.

Hi,

In the On-Prem world (at least in CRM 2011), there were Views that I could grab the actual name for statuscode/statecode/etc.. However, based on what I have seen on different Dynamics 365 posts, I will have to use JavaScript or Workflow to grab current Business Process Flow name and insert it into a custom field in order to display actual name rather than GUID. Is there an actual name field somewhere or is JavaScript/Workflow the only option?

Hi,

there is a default field called pipeline phase, see if that field suit your needs or not. that field will update based on stage

Hi,

you can use javascript to get the current stage name or ID and update to your custom field stage.
