I am facing issue to release purchase requisition, we have activated the budget encumbrance and run the purchase order year-end process.

We approved the purchase requisition previous year and tried to purchase order this year and getting this error "Purchase requisition line was pre-encumbered in a fiscal year that is different from the accounting date of the purchase order. Hence, the purchase order cannot be created."

It was not verified, so I don't think it will contain a solution. In the end, you can create a new purchase requisition and approve it in the current fiscal year as workaround.

Hi Kamal,

If the purchase requisition is project-related, you get the same error where the budget control parameter (on the project) 'Carry forwards remaining budgets' is set to 'No'.

I suspect the same applies where the Budget Control configuration setting 'Include carry-forward amounts' is set to 'No'.

Just a very simple trick works.

Change your Calendar Date to previous year and release the PR which was approved in previous year and has previous year accounting date will be released.

i.e. I was facing the same issue where PR was created in 2023 and today it was not getting released, so I changed the Calendar date to previous year, screenshot below, my PO was released.
