dynamics 365 for tablet

Posted on by 250

Hi All,

I have a plan to implement dynamics 365 for tablet in the near future, but I didn't have any experience develop and customize dynamics 365 for tablet before.

could you please guys can share with me how far we can develop and custom the dynamics 365 for tablet app? what is key point when we still can use dynamics 365 for tablet or should use third party app like resco to handle the complex customization?

thanks

I think tablets have a great future. It can go far because in the future the number of tablet users will increase. I bought a tablet for a child, it helps in learning the world, of course you need to install special applications and help the child. Tablets are larger than the phone and they are more convenient for the child is a good choice. I also took a tablet for movies and in the car, I chose from these https://www.worldoftablet.com/best-10-inch-tablets . Young people do not use tablets because they have other goals and for adults, old and children it is a very convenient device. my parents communicate with me via tablet and laptop. It was just my opinion:)

The mobile apps (phone & tablet) utilize the Unified Interface (model-driven app) for Dynamics 365. So, you really only need to configure/customize once in Dynamics 365 for all devices. There are exceptions that you can utilize for mobile users such as the use of Controls. There are options when you add Controls to the form to enable it for Web, Phone, and/or Tablet.

However, if you are looking to develop a totally unique experience for your mobile users, then I would suggest a third-party solution like Resco.

    Hi,

    1.) Dynamics 365 for Tablets ( OOB)

    - docs.microsoft.com/.../customize-phones-tablets

2.)  You can use PowerApps to build the Dynamics 365 for phone and  tablet too.
