Change background color of individual workspace tiles

Hi,

I have a requirement in D365FO to change the background color of some individual workspace tiles on the Demand driven MRP workspace.

The furthest I have come is by duplicating the TileButtonControl on the form, and assigning a new custom tile object with ImageLocation: AOTResource, and the resource being a color image file. From the screenshot this does change the color but it dumps the count on the tile.

I have also tried to override the control.backgroundColor() at various stages of the form and control initialization to no avail.

If someone has some experience with this it would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Thank you for your response.

Unfortunately I have already read through all of these threads and none of them provide a complete solution.

They either mention using the control.backgroundColor(), which in my experience does not work, or they mention using a AOTResource image similar to what I have done in my screenshot, which does change the color but it loses the count on the tile.
