Management Reporter 2012 - Figures Changed After Year-End

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi:

Net Income on a P&L statement as of 12/31/2019 showed $200k profit.  After year-end close for 2019 was run, the figure for Net Income as of 12/31/2019 changed to ($1,257,000).

We recreated the Data Mart twice, upon finding this, but no success.

They are on version 2.12.16000.17.

Why did this happen, and what is the fix?

Thanks!

John

    Hey Jake,

Thank you, for all that you do!  :)

It was suggested to me to open a case, after I had posted this query here on the Forum.  I could not figure out how to, afterward, delete this question.

But, I guess that I could have come here after creating the case and simply tell those here on the Forum to disregard.  As the young people say today, that's "my bad".  LOL!

    Thanks, again, Jake!!!

Hi John. I believe you logged a case for this so I won't duplicate the effort here. After some investigating, it was determined that there is bad data in the GP GL tables. A GP engineer is currently assisting with getting it fixed. Rebuild the MR data mart after you get it corrected.
