Good Afternoon

Earlier today, I added the Unit entity to my App:

When I try to load the View from the sidebar in dynamics, I am immediately prompted with an error:

My security role is system administrator and I am able to view units from other entities like Unit Group:

I was able to reproduce a similar issue using another Dynamics instance. All I had to do was add the unit entity in the app designer. Has anyone encountered a similar issue? I'm interested in next steps to continue debugging this issue.

    Hi partner,

    This is by design.

    The Unit entity is completely dependent on the unit group entity. It can only be represented by the unit group and cannot be retrieved in the view like a normal entity.

    All subareas on the site map are actually linked to a public view of the entity. For example, click on Account and we can see the view of Account.

    Open the default solution, we can see that the Unit entity has no public view, that is, it cannot be opened via the subarea of the site map.

    In the advanced find, it is also impossible to search for Unit entity.

    The only way to open the Unit entity is through the unit group.
