I just setup the Dynamics 365 Data Export Service and the initial sync says it was successful but it didn't sync five out of 339 entities. The initial sync status for the five entities says "Not Started", and the metadata sync statuses are mostly failures.
This is from the error log: "ChangeType: Trigger Initial Export, FailureReason: Execution Timeout Expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding"
I clicked "RESYNC FAILED RECORDS" and get a popup that says "Initial Sync is not finished or Resync of failed records is already in progress, please click refresh and try again."
It's been close to 24 hours since the initial sync. I tried removing and re-adding the entities to the export profile but they still fail. Is it possible to increase the timeout of an export profile?
No, this was never resolved. We stopped using the service because tech support was really bad, it's difficult to troubleshoot, and we just didn't trust it. Hopefully things work out better for you.
Did you manage to resolve this?
I am having the same issue with a single entity. I have removed and added it back in to the Export Profile but it has failed again. Going to have a dig through the database to see if there is a problem there.
This is quite an old question not to have had any form of answer.
