Not able to work on AdvanceFind

Posted on by 308

Hi all,

I was trying to do an advanced find in CRM and got the following error message encouraging us to contact our administrator or contact Microsoft Support. I tried going to the 365 community page but it seemed to be a dead link.

Thanks in Advance!

This might be the case ,me too suspecting the same .  BTW  , FetchXML returns 5000 records at a time,  so this is not expected  behavior .Did you tried to put some another filter and minimize the columns in the view?

    Hi All,

What i am thinking is this error comes due to Time Out

    advquery.JPG

When i run my below query it takes time(more than expected) to load, then sometime it shows the records or some time  it throw the above error.

My user has System Admin role. it is not showing this error all the time but sometimes this error shows when i execute my query. Also it takes a lot of time to load

Do you guys know what could be the reason? and How we can resolve this?

    Thanks,
    Ishan

    Hi Ishan,

Are you getting this error for all record types or particular entity ?

Make sure you have sufficient access for the entity . You need to have the access of saved views -

In addition try with different user login , system admin or another security role assigned user.

    Hi Ishan,

Try different browser/ incognito mode. Also check if this is happening for all entities and for all users including system admin). If still doesn't work then, contact Microsoft support directly as they can check the actual error behind it. Assuming you are CRM Online.

    Hope this helps.
