I am using web application in my project , for reports i am using reportsserver2005 to generate the SSRS reports.
Normally reports are working fine and i have one RDL which is complex with all group by involved for sales details report.
i have one date range where the sp generates around more than 300000 records in the result and for that result SSRS not able to render the report throwing operation has timed out error.
Below are the following approaches i have tried but no luck
1. As per google suggestion i have increase httpruntime execution time out to 3 hours and also pdf report time out to 3 hours.(Not worked)
2. In rsreportserver.config file DatabaseQueryTimeout value also increase upto 20 min and also in reportserver web.config httpruntime also increased still not working.
3.Stored procedures also tried to optimise maximum level.
4. in ExecutionLogs table its showing status as rsSuccess for that report but report throwing operation time out error. as per logs table rendering , execution and processing is taken around 18 min (in which processing and rendering taking more time)
not sure where the exact issue happening for this report?
As per ssrs logs it showing the error as below.
System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException: The I/O operation has been aborted because of either a thread exit or an application request. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800703E3)
at ReportingServicesHttpRuntime.BaseWorkerRequest.SendHttpResponse(Boolean finalFlush)
at ReportingServicesHttpRuntime.RsWorkerRequest.FlushResponse(Boolean finalFlush)
kindly help me what actions need to take to solve the error trying from past one week.
