My user has Sales Manager role but He has Delete privilege but still not able to delete account record

Anyone know why it is coming and how can I resolve this. I have also checked that the user can delete it if he has System Admin role

Thanks in Advance,

Ishan Sharma

    Hi Ishan,

Looks like the privilege missing is Read on the system entity Requirement Resource Preference. See screenshot below -

    reqPreference.png

Please provide the privilege as I provided for Read (green dot).

    Hope this helps.

Hi Ishan, it looks like the user needs Read privilege on the entity Requirement Resource Preference. You should give that permission on the Custom Entities tab of the role maintenance.

This is part of the Project Service App where at account level a preferred resource can be maintained.

    Good luck!

    Hi Ishan,

From your error screenshot sharing, 'missing prvReadmsdyn_requirementresourcepreference privilege'. The issue should be due to the 'Requirement Resource Preference' Entity.

I agree with Priyesh that pls give read and delete permission to this entity Requirement Resource Preference Entity as there is a relationship between Accounts and Resource Requirement entity.

And the Sales Manager role doesn't have any permission for Resource Requirement entity. The current user having Sales Manager role doesn't have permission on that entity, the user will not be able to perform action on its related entity records which cause the above issue.

    For your reference.

    Regards

    Johnny
