We are wanting to use an IFrame to access another website from within Dynamics. This website will have a form on it. We will have the data required to fill out this form stored within Dynamics.
What we are wanting to do is grab the data from the fields in Dynamics, and have it populate the corresponding fields on the form within the IFrame. Is it possible? Could we do this using JavaScript or a workflow or a plugin? Any information or documentation on this problem will be appreciated.
You can do whatever you want. You can use form scripting & web api or odata calls to read/query CRM data, then pass as query string in url or parameters between.
