Hi All,

I have setup a Portal Add-on for a Dynamics 365 organization (online). I have assigned a sub domain name to my Portal (say https://myportal-dev.microsoftcrmportals.com/).

Now I need to change the sub domain (myportal-dev) to something different.

I would like to know if It is possible to change the subdomain name for an already setup portal ? Or If I can start the setup of the portal from scratch so I can assign a different sub domain. I have found no direct way to do so from the Portal Configuration.

Thank you for your reply.

Actually I had to open a support request with Microsoft to reset the portal configuration. They did it in the back end and I was able to set up again the portal with a different sub domain.

Go to portal.office.com and login with your credentials. Use the Portal Actions (as available in your image) - Add a Custom domain name.

Since, Portal URL has '.microsoftcrmportals.com', so definitely you wouldn't this url for your production environments.
