Personal views are best fit as per you requirement.
You can create personal views from advanced find, below is link for your information.

You can share this view to all users of child BU.

If you customize the view, it will be for the complete system. So with the standard customization/ configurations you cannot achieve this but you could have multiple views and then have those views assigned to particular security role.
