Blank put location for PO - user feed the location

Purchase order receiving on the mobile app

Looking for ideas to have the initial put location after starting from receiving to be a blank location - meaning the user must tell the system where the stock will be put.

Tried that does not work:

Location directive - put action - on the edit query left it blank

Location directive - deleted the action

Mobile menu item for receiving - default data set to blank

None of the above achieved the desired outcome.

I can override the location with the work exception, but that is too many unnecessary clicks.

I want to be able to input the location myself with every item I receive (long explanation why - but it is what is needed).

Any ideas to achieve this?
