Hi expert,
the scenario is I have print management setup for customers invoice , some customers have specific format and destination. Normally users will use "Use Print management" button to print and mostly the destination is to printer .but recently there is a request to print preview customers invoice by using print management format without go to change destination in Print Management setting. Is there any guidance on this?

Thanks in advance.
Daniel

Just so I understand it clear, you want to use Print Management but for proforma documents?

If that is the case, it was solved in this community post: Distinguish Print management between Invoices & Pro forma invoices (dynamics.com)

    Hi Jonas,

I mean when I click View "Original preview" or "Copy preview" , I want to see customer invoice as per Print Management setting on screen.

Okay, the buttons on the invoice journal (-:

No, that's not possible out of the box. The print management button will always try to run the print out to it's destination.

You can set up print management to print out to archive and then use that as a preview. See this thread: Solved: Invoice journal: preview original is a copy of the current version (dynamics.com)
In my opinion from an accounting perspective, this is the most correct approach since it shows the exact document that was sent to the customer.

Alternatively you will have to do a customization or investigate alternative output management solutions.

    No problem :-)
I know it's not optimal, but it's a solution for future invoices, and you won't have to do customizations.
