Recurring Real time Workflow

I'm trying to create a real-time workflow for a scenario which is If a record gets created in a contact entity, add a recurring workflow to create an appointment in an "appointment" entity every month. Attaching snapshots of the settings

I tried to set up this workflow as a background workflow with a wait condition but it didn't work. Can somebody explain to me what's wrong with it?

I want to create a recurring workflow for creating appointments for a customer every month.

Every time, a new contact record gets created, I want to start a workflow which should create appointments every month for this record. Please suggest, how can I do this?

Create a WF to run on create of contact. In the WF create a recurring appointment (every month).

You don’t need a recurring WF but a single WF on contact creation which will create recurring appointment.

Hi,

You dont have to create a recurring workflow, you only need to create a single appointment and with the help of custom workflow to set the recurring appointment.
