I am receiving the same error when deploying a dev cloud hosted VM. Let me know if you find any solution.

Hi Juha, TS,

What version of F&O are you deploying? Do you have this issue with all versions or a specific version?

As there is a second report of this error, probably something got broken on the Microsoft side. You can create a ticket for Microsoft Support.

Dear Juha,

The Run-CommandMROneBoxRunDVT script runs at the fag end of the deployment and completes the installation of the Management Reporter on the D365 OneBox instance.

Although you are able to login to the VM the Management Reporter might not be in an installed/stable state. You could check that.

Seems that Power BI embedded installation fails so all reporting are unavailable. Is there any ways to fix this or how i should proceed. Everything else seemd to be in place based on testing interface and also checking the log files

I have gotten the same error twice now since 10/5/2024.

It seems to happen for a new standard DEV vm deployment with a configuration that used to work - last successful deployment with this configuration was on 10/4 and two deployments have failed since.

Have you heard anything from Microsoft support?

Update:
I looked into the log files, and they show an error in the last step of validating the Management Reporter deployment:

Log: "Run-CommandMROneBoxRunDVT_I0_R0"

[ERROR] Terminating error encountered, deployment may not be complete!!!

disabled!" --- System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Microsoft Accounts
cannot be disabled!
at System.Data.SqlClient.SqlConnection.OnError(SqlException exception,
Boolean breakConnection, Action`1 wrapCloseInAction)

I'm guessing this means an account used during deployment is disabled or expired.

I also tried applying a deployable package to the VM after this and that also failed with an error related to MR (that I didn't capture).

I think this is LCS issue 955454, with a workaround of deploying a 10.0.40 instance & then applying the 10.0.41 update.
