Unable to Provision Vendor User

Hi,

I'm trying to create a user for vendor (vendor collaboration), unfortunately when I provision a vendor user, it prompts me with an error - The vendor collaboration access setting has been successfully applied. However, the request to create a new user account was not submitted successfully. Please contact your system administrator. Hoping for your advise. Thank you in advance.

    External Vendor who needs access to the Vendor portal.
     
    For new vendor users, the email address must not already exist in the system.

    Hi,
    A couple of more settings to check, in addition to the ones, although having the 
    1. Also, check if there if the person associated with the user has the same email address or has the same vendor portal credentials as the user id through which we are trying to login to the vendor portal.
    2. Also check if you are not applying the same email address across different legal entities. 
     
    As per 10.0.13 update there is a KB article that recommends point number 2.

    HI Rahul,

    I have the same issue. I tried your suggestions  and it did not work. I have managed to set this to a working access previously. (still version 10.12 and now 10.12 so the same stuff) I did not create a workflow to provision in both instances. scratching my head what am I doing wrong now.

    I did got the same error, solution is to

    Check in "Users" list if the email address is already assigned/used and if so then delete and submit the provisioning request

    Hi Rahul,

    What you've just mentioned was already done. The error occur when I click on the Submit button under Provision vendor user.

    could you confirm if this was done

    Directly create a vendor collaboration user here or just create a user and assign vendor roles, then create vendor contact and allow for collaboration portal on vendor and then link the person in the vendor user
