MB-300 Or MB-330 Need Urgent Help.

Hello community members.

I've started working as an Application Consultant and i am relatively new to Dynamics 365. I've been asked to complete one certification within 6 weeks. Either MB-300 or MB-330. I've been looking into MB-330 but i find it quiet hard for a beginner.

Can experienced professionals suggest if MB-300 is an easier way to start than MB-330?

If yes can someone kindly post the modules i require to complete and pass MB-300? I've access to both Mbs and Dlp.

Hi Usama ,

MB-300 is a core exam and you should go for that first. This exam will be required for all D365FO consultants as a prerequisite to the functionality-focused exams – Financials (MB-310), Manufacturing (MB-320), Talent (MB6-898) or Supply Chain Management (MB-330).You can check below link which has self pace training option and skills measured are also given. If you click on start leaning option , on the Microsoft learn site you can search for relevant topic along with DLP and other resources.

Hello,

If you need a certification, you need to pass both the MB-300 and MB-330 exams.

MB-300 is basis for all certifications in D365FO area.

The skill measured clearly lists the required modules.

You can study those documents by learn portal: docs.microsoft.com/.../

But if you do not have any experience on ERP system, suggest you find a training institution to learn.

Yes i need to pass the certification, my question is should i go for 300 first or 330 keeping easier one on priority.

Hello,

If you have experience on ERP system, 330 first, it requires business skills.

Otherwise 300 is a better choice.

As I said earlier , its a core exam , so better you take it first. If you learn and practice properly you should be able to clear the exam. if you are only going to study about certification , six weeks are enough.

Hello Mattguo,

No i have no prior experience on ERP Systems. I'll go for 300 now as 330 is a better choice after passing 300.
