Find involved entities to use in plugins

Hi,

I have some dynamics 365 application where I can press a button. This starts some functionality where one entry will be linked to another. On this button, i will do some other functions too. But the related entities are not changed directly. I found a 'Set' where a new record is created, but i can't use it for plugin, because it's just a type of helping entity.

I speak for the dyn app 'attract' which is part of talent 365. There i mean the 'add candidate to talent pool' Button. I want to do some other things when button is pressed. But i ca not find the correct events.

Is there some kind of Event viewer which will show me all record updates, New records and something like that? I had a Look for settings / System Jobs but there are just entries from plugins i already wrote and not all Events.

Dynamics 365 talent ist just online, so i cannot have any look in database or Server Event viewer.

Best,

Robin

    Hi Robin,

D365 itself does not have the feature to do it.

You need to use Power Bi to list the last modifications of all entities.

If you want to search for the last modification of all entities in D365, you have to enable the auditing feature for all entities and then filter one entity at a time to see the auditing history. This is a very cumbersome way.

Or is there a way to search through all entities for the last modified records?
