Published workflow definition must have non null activation id error while deactivating a workflow

I have a workflow which was written by a person who is no more active. When trying to deactivate the workflow I keep getting the error as "Published workflow definition must have non null activation id " . Owner of the workflow is also changed and there are no dependencies . Also checked if there are any processes assigned to the disabled user. I don't see any such things. What is the reason and solution to deactivate the workflow. Below is the error log.

The User is Disabled. Tried even enabling the User and deactivate the workflow. Even then same issue. Looks like it is corrupted.

Sorry for the late reply. I tried searching from the Advance find and I don't see any column on the disabled user name. tried changing the workflow owner as me and tried deactivating.still no luck.

    Hi

I still think its to do with a user being disabled.

Could you use the advanced find to query on Processes entity and add all the columns and see if the disabled previous owner is still in any of the columns?

    Thanks
